Day 16: Ikea fun!

Hi! Bonjour!

I arrived home last thursday! Fortunately everything is well, and busy normal life is back again. But I still want to inform you guys about the last days of my lovely adventure.

Monday was quite a fun and relaxing day. Woke up quite late in comparison with the days in the USA namely 8:30 AM. I had breakfast and talked with Aida for a little bit. Aunt Marleen and Laureline weren't home. They were at the Cello class, but Aida told me she expected them to be back home around 9:15 AM. After Aida left for school, I had some time for myself and watched some series. 

When the cello class was over and Marleen and Laureline were back home we decided it was fun to go to Ikea. Aunt Marleen and I love Ikea and Minnie Muis loves the playground they have over there. But we had to stay home for a few hours because the plumber was coming around noon. So we played some different games. The first one was Family Poen, I brought this game with me. It is a Dutch game which I played a lot at my grandma's place. So it was really fun to do it once again. Laureline liked it as well but she didn't really understand a coin with a 50 on top was more worth then a 1. After that it was really nice weather to go to Dulwhich park. So, Laureline and I went there for approximately half an hour and played some games of hide and seek. When we came back the plumber was already at the house so we had lunch in parallel. For lunch we ate the leftover delicious Burgers. The plumber didn't have so much work so after lunch we immediately went to Ikea.

Ikea was really nice and fun. A new collection was just released so we saw some new version of the Poäng chairs and Lack tables/bookshelfs. I definitely love Ikea and Laureline loved watching tv at the playground too. We arrived back in Saint Lambert, picked up Circé from school and went home again. Not so much time later Aida and Uncle Maxime arrived home as well. We had dinner, this time we ate chicken, Circé told me I was welcome to visit the French primary school, so Tuesday I went with her to school. This was so fun, but you will read this in my next post. After dinner we decided to do a game of Pictionary. We formed teams: Circé and I played against Aida, Marleen and Laureline. Circé and I did a good job but unfortunately ended up making some big mistakes and we lost the game. Bèeeeeh.

That night I watched an episode of Parenthood together with aunt Marleen and went to bed around 22:30.
