Day 12 (part) & 13 & 14: Enjoying time with family in Montreal

Bonjour!

At the moment I'm sitting on the chair in my aunt's house and I finally have time to talk about my way from New York to Montréal and day 13 and 14 of my trip.

My flight from New York to Montreal went really well. During this I had to fill in a form again for the security to be allowed to enter the country. Luckily, I understood everything and they allowed me to enter the country. When I arrived at the airport aunt Marleen wasn't there yet. This was because my airplane arrived 40 minutes early. So, I waited for here outside on the arrivals pick up place. 
When we arrived me and aunt Marleen talked for 1,5 an hour and at 11:45 PM I went to bed after an exhausting travelling day.

Friday

This morning I ate breakfast together with my lovely cousins and Aida and Circé went to school and uncle Maxime went to work. So Marleen, Laureline and I decided to go shopping. This was really fun and we ate lunch together at a pretty boulangerie. Yes, Montréal is in the french speaking part of Canada so I'm practicing my French as well. We were back home when Aida's school was out but she had to go to piano lessons. Aunt Marleen wanted to do some shopping, so I stayed home together with Mini Muis aka Laureline. She asked me politely if I could paint her nails, so I did (and did my own nails as well). It was really nice weather outside so we went outside to relax on the trampoline. After that we did a game, went to a playground and ate dinner. That night Circé and Aida had karate and Laureline, Marleen and I went to go to pick up Circé at 7:30 PM. Aida had a class till 9:00 PM. Circé and I played a card game and ate some chocolate. I loved my first day in Montreal.

Saturday

Saturday I woke up because I heard the children walking around. It was a beautiful day, in the morning I first wore jeans but later on switched this to a dress because it was way too hot. Saturday is a very busy day at the Roy-van Mierlo familyin Montreal. They have a big time schedule hanging above their computer screen. When I ate breakfast, Aida was having a basketball training already. Then we Facetimed with some Dutch family (incl. my mom and dad) and Aida & I brought Laureline to her swimming classes. Unfortunately, there was a competition going on in the pool so this class was cancelled. 

Aida definitely needed new clothes, that's why uncle Maxime dropped us off at the mall. It was a smaller mall than we visited on Saturday but it was still quite big. I helped Aida choosing clothes and we even saw some of her school friends. It was really nice to go shopping with her, and we kept on talking and talking whole the time. After Maxime picked us up, we dropped Aida off at the karate center and went home where Laureline and Circé were painting. They asked me if I could join them and as I liked painting a lot I made a drawing of some flowers myself.  Then it was finally time for the solo pieces at the concert. Laureline played the elephant song (with aunt Marleen on the piano) and Circé played a beautiful song on the violin. I will upload the videos. After that we had dinner and relaxed on the couch.
